Can someone please post a picture, diagram, specification, or whatever on the correct magazine for a Lee Enfield Carbine (LEC) stamped as a "No1*".
It's supposedly an irish carbine if that makes a difference to the magazine configuration. Someone said it was a 7-round magazine? Even less likley. Does anyone have a spare, or a source for a spare for such a beast? What would be areasonable price (ball park is fine) to buy one?

Shamu,
It is a six (6) round magazine per "Small Arms of the Anglo-Boer war, 1899-1902" |
