Hi, I'm kind of new to the Enfield forum. Are the reproduction slings sold on eBay any good? Are they good quality? I am thinking of buying a sling for my Enfield No4 MK2 rifle which is in real nice condition.

Variable. Some are fine others kinda thin so the "hooks" don't grab.

If you’re gonna lug the rifle around innawoods, repro.  Otherwise go for an original.

Having bought many repro slings, it is pretty common to have to pinch the hooks together with pliers to get them to grab. Other than that, most repros work well for the job.

Ok and thanks everyone for your help. I'll probably get an original sling instead.

I bought a repro version of the leather sling for my dad's No1 MK3 off of Amazon.  It looks great and I like it better than the canvas/cotton webbing versions.

Best,

I have a repro leather sling on one rifle as well. Those are pretty nice.
