Yup, took us a while to figure this out, Goosic’s photos were the key.

I wonder if replacing the adapted sight he has currently with the P-H version might be the best of both worlds? Its probably almost 1/2" shorter!

Yes, that would work, as well as the PH 6 hole eyepiece, which works very well.  No magnification of course, but that’s how these sights were used for SR(b) competition.  The real advantage of the PH sight is having windage adjustment for mid and long range shooting.  Not as necessary for short range (200 - 300 yds).

That is a great point. Do I "need" the P-H rear sight as I'm limited to 100 yrs at our range? It does look cool but... another option I thought of us replacing the front blade with a brass one. I've bought them before from (I'm not sure if I can say the name) to utilize with their peep sights for other types of rifles. They are available in different dovetail widths and blade heights. Being brass, they can be filed down quite easily. I'm guessing the Lee Enfield is not 3/8" wide? I'll measure today.

Well, by my eyes, the width of the bottom of the stock dovetail is 5/16th"?
