Starting as soon a it can be implemented, like next month, ALL "HOLDS" & "DENIED" on a 443 MUST BE REPORTED to the BATFE!
Denied, I can understand.
HOLDS (including ones that clear) I can't!
The Feebs have already figured out the (often totally innocent, like a similar name) Now report "cleared citizens" to whom, for what? They've been cleared FFS!
(I get a hold every time no matter how many hoops I jump through)

does sound an unnecessary thing - isnt the ATF that holds and denies ? so they are demanding dealers report to them their own actions ? typical liberal government BS

The BATFE runs the NICS checks, but mainly by checking various databases maintained by various other agencies including the FBI, who will be the reporting agency as  hear it. Its not just one check, but about 12 (IIRC) all combined & correlated by the BATFE.

by my reading of their "authority" they were forbidden to keep a record/data base , but i know that has been ignored - fist by forcing gun dealers to do it with them having full access ,  but id be willing to bet they have an extensive data base it truth were known ,

Right, that's why they "simply coordinate" all the other databases, that way they're "not maintaining, just using"!

I no longer have my FFL, but I dont understand why they need the FFL holder to report this?  when they ( FBI and ATF... Mainly the FBI who are the ones who do the back ground check the FFL calls in) are the ones who give you a hold or denied responce !!!    
I think this is just more foot work put on the FFL to make them give up their license !!!

The ATF apparatchiks are making dealers do their job - reminding them to do their job on a delay or denial. Just one more govt union entitled to sluff their work on the "taxpayers" yet again. Yet bidumb in the latest omnibus of spoiled prok is giving the ATF goons tens of millions more $$$.
