Parts list, (reloading kit)

I thank you guys again for recomending the Lee type loader.  Anyway I'm putting in an order through this company which also sells varous reloading tools.  Here's a list Of what I gather is needed.  If anything is missing from it let me know (please!)  (Links below)  I imagine My list has overlapping parts, Please advise.

I have the lee anniversary kit, it has a pretty good set of scales

and a good auto powder measure, it takes a while to get it dispensing the correct amount of powder but saves a lit of time when it is set up.

I was hoping to reuse my own (Remington) brass.  Thanks guys, as I said I'm putting in an order.  Tomorrow I hope as someone owes me $250 And they promised the'd pay me back tomorrow.  They've owed me this money for a cuople of weelks now.  I'm sure you all know how that goes.

Hmm I'm not sure why you need the decapping pin and base, and do you want the hand press at the same time to reload at the range? I just ordered the Lee deluxe rifle 3 die set ( on sale at Midway $23.99)  the neck sizing die will help your cases last a lot longer. You could use the original Lee tool to neck size, but why bother if you have the press and dies?

I like shooting IMR brand powder.  I usually shoot the IMR 3031and IMR 4895.  They both have been pretty decent powders. I shoot the 3031 when I load the .32 cal bullets.

5thElement ( loved your movie, by the way) you will need a couple of reloading manuals, so try and read everything you can first. Look for the Lyman and Speer manuals at used book stores or Ebay. The ABC's of reloading is also an informative source. If you can find someone that loads to watch for a couple of hours, you'll also get a better idea about tools.  You can, as I and many others did, get the Lee aniversary kit for $70, or $82 with the Lee manual, which is also a good source of info and load data. I'd look at Midway or Midsouth, they have a larger selection and sometimes better prices than Cheaper than dirt. The basic Lee kit, some dies, (get the Lee or other set with a neck sizing die to extend case life) and a case trimmer (also Lee) and powder primers and bullets and you are set to go.

But, I have already replaced some of the parts of the Lee set, ( the scale is accurate but I don't like it) and am looking to get either the Lee classic cast or the Lee classic turret press, still deciding.  I currently use a mix of Redding ,RCBS and Lee tools.  Redding and RCBS are good, but I really think Lee gives the best value on most of their tools. ( I wouldn't buy a Lee progressive)

I load a couple of pistol calibers, so the Lee classic turret semi-progressive is appealing. If I was only going to load for rifles, I would get the Lee Classic cast.
If I had it to do it over again, I would buy the press I want, and pick up the scale and powder measure from a swap meet or EBAY. But that's just me. Thousands of people have purchased the basic Lee anniversary set and are very happy and never upgrade.  Also be careful if you bid on EBAY, I continually see items sell for more than the cost of a new item at Midway! Check prices first!

Look around a bit, then ask us questions, there seems to be several knowledgeable people here who will help you.
