hi all
just practicing posting photos (trying to reduce size etc) so thought id post some photos in this area (mods please move if not the right area ) first photo a lithgow oiler and the second is some mk6 cordite rounds in an early mk2 charger hope this works(Im not real computer literate ) |

they are coming through fine but i think a little elongated vertically - just my HO

heya Asquare thanks for letting me know. as I said im not great with the puters but I cant learn if im not aware theres something not quite right so I very much appreciate any observations or advice given in good spirits by someone trying to be helpful

you can post photos a bit bigger if you like. I think the image is normal but probably a wide angle lens
causing slight elongation of the bullets.

Try for an 800X800 pixel image for bigger images, if you want a bit more detail & sharpness go to 1024X1024 but you'll use your storage a little faster. 800X800 same image at 1024X1024 |

i had not thought of the lens used in this post , a wide angle lens or telescopic lens does alter perspective , i always assume one is using the standard 50mm lens with 35mm format - past photo experience in the days of 35mm film as a basis of my perception ,

A lot of digital cameras still use the "35mm equivalent" on the lens specs. For example my Fuji FinePix S 9100 is actually a 6.2~66mm but its listed as a 28~300mm (35 equivalent)
