I have a Parker Hale rear aperture sight for a No4. It came with a front globe sight, but I was trying to figure out how to mount it without T&Ding. I found an original Lyman globe sight on the internet made specifically for the No4! It has the dovetail installed and inserts. Anybody ever seen or used one? Thanks guys!

Update. Bought it. Lyman No17A original (I've been snookered many times before in regards to "original") front globe site apparently manufactured post war for Canadian Army Armourers to outfit some No4's  for target rifles. I have know idea how to prove/disprove this claim but you know when you just gotta take a flyer???!!? Did it!

I did not know it was a Lyman 17A or else I would have commented. It is very small in diameter compared to the PH 21. I have one of those but only use it on my Marlin 39A. I post a couple of pictures in a bit to show the size difference between the Lyman, Parker Hale, and the Matchmaker...

My apologies as it was a bit of vague and inacurate description ... I wasn't sure how to explain it as I'd never seen one before.
