I have 2 of the P-H 6-hole eyepieces, one came with & fits into my A.G. Parker No9W. It interchanges with the "target" windage adjustable P-H sight too.
The other came with & fits into the thread adapter in the Central.

But they do not interchange!

Anybody ever heard of this?
They look identical at first glance but then you realize one has a short cylindrical tube over the base of the threaded part & the thread stops short.
The other has no collar & is fully threaded!
If you do the thread check with the meshing screws they do not match but its so slight its barely visible to the naked eye!
Confused
I have to dig up my single aperture one & see which variety it is now?
Any thoughts?

Shamu, are the threads different (different thread standard)?

Isn’t Central a Australian company?  Not sure what thread standard they may have used.

Yes they are. & smart too!
It comes with the biggest threaded hole commonly used, the German Centra or Gehmann (I know)
but it goes to the "standard" P-H tapered thread (or any other) depending on the adapter you buy.
The short knurled cylinder is the adapter. It goes from the Central's Female 9.5mm "large" standard to the smaller 7/32" male ones.

I’d have to see pics - I know there is a adapter to fit the German Anschutz eyepiece that screws on the Parker Hale eyepieces.

Got pics to share ?
