I have a 1966 2A1 that has D2 marked on the bolt head of the matching bolt, but the lockup is a tiny bit tight, so I was looking around for another bolt head and an online parts dealer has some that they say are all marked DP for Drill Purpose Service.

What does that mean?

Drill Purposes ONLY
Basically condemned as unfit for firing & maybe downgraded n some arcane way

be careful to check this one out very carefully , there was something wrong or they would not downgrade it they needed them in thos e days , may still ,
