he!!o.  I have been reading the forum and thought I'd register.  I've had a 1917 bsa no1 mkIII* and a 1907 model bayonet (Wilkinson) for the last 20-30 years.  I bought it at a gun show back when they were still relatively inexpensive.  I will be adding a no4 mk1 in the very near future.  In addition to the rifles and their history, I'm also interested in reloading and will likely be asking some questions about that.

Big Howdy from Dallas, Texas!  I've been reloading the .303 British for almost 40 years now so I might be able to help you with a question or two.

To you Canadians, the No4 I’m hoping to have shortly is a long branch.

The first reloading question I had is posted.  I believe it’s awaiting approval.  I need to get to 20 so it will be simpler to post but I hate to make repetitive inane posts to reach the 20 post minimum.

When I was in the Canadian Forces we went on a joint training exercise with the ANG located at Gulfport and the USAF at Keesler AFB in Biloxi.  Lots to do and see in the area, went to Mobile to see the USS Alabama, and drove to 'Nawlins' to see the French quarter.  It was mudbug season when we were there and a couple of cajuns in our host unit put on a crab boil for us.  Very friendly people there!

I'm approaching my 20 post minimum.  I received the no4 I mentioned in post 1 above and have posted a question about the action trigger guard screw/bushing or related in the gunsmithing section.  I will post a thread with the rifle info and pictures hopefully soon.
