Hi all
Couldn't resist this trainer but if possible would like to know more about it.

would love to give you more but we need to see a lot more of it - what you are showing are not enough to give you much ,  a shot of the left and right wrist markings , one of the muzzle would let us try to determine if its fitted with a sleeved or purpose built barrel , 

all we can see is it appears to have been produced or converted by BSA at some time in its life , 
 if thats a I* marking on the wrist it was once long tom rifle which would mean its been shortened to SMLE dimensions , by what i see it has the handguard to indicate that , but thats a WAG

I concur, this rifle was converted from a MLE MkI* originally.
