I have both of the ones for the No1 & the No4.
They don't have the gradations of the originals, but you can do it (instructions included) with the thread pitch easily.

The link provided states the adjuster is for the No4 &No5

Or are you referencing original adjusters ?

They are decent.
I've added a little brake grease to the threads & tips of the "pusher bolts" to mine.
Like the original they need the nose-cap removing in the SMLE's ones .

is it the consensus that they work well ?

note that im not a big fan on consensus these days , after covid and the climate change scams ive found that im skeptical of anything that uses that word , i want real scientific proof that goes way beyond anything the current political types use as proof i want it on paper and repeatable not some speculation ythat a bunch of folks with their hand outs agree on ,

as to climate change - the recent flooding causeed more than anything predicted by the so called experts , the recent volcanic activity has exceeded what the human population produces  , the canadian wildfires are producing way more than the human population does ....unless of course they were set by terrorist's trying to reak havoc on our two countries

They are "different".
They are aluminum with a steel pusher screw & they lack a built in scale engraved to make adjustments.
Having said that they work & better than "bashing it with a small hammer". I own both the No1 & the No4 versions & would buy them again for adjusting sights. They aren't designed as "collector items though" but as a practical tool.

There's an original on Gunbroker currently, but it's $225. Been sitting awhile, might be worth making an offer if anyone is still on the hunt.
