#1:

Brunton “OSS-70-M” Combination baseboard/marching compass with clinometer(s). In a USGI compass pouch, with a set of “marching beads/woodsman’s beads” & their instructions.

A nice but unorthodox take on the field compass, comes with the original (& darn near impossible to find, even from Brunton) instructions for use & 2 CD’s. One manuals & more, The other a complete learning /refresher course in map & compass navigation with tests & answers.

I’ve made a few useful mods to this one.

There’s a view port for the bubble level so it can be seen when the “clamshe!!” is closed, & I’ve added luminous indexes & illumination for night time use.
