happy new year all - home after the first party ive attended in over 20 years - it was good , civil , and responsible , all is right in the world and we are off to a great start for the new year here , spending some time with a good friend tomorrow , and ..and having dinner and drinks with my favorite BIL AND SIL on friday im looking forward to that ,

i am then demoing the plumbing in our kitchen , we are having two of our grandkids in for the weekend , then we are geetting new granite countertops installed in our kitchen first of the week - it was our joint christmas present to each other , talked of it for 20- years decided it was time before we were too old to enjoy it ----im pretty much there already but shes ten years younger , when i go she will have what she wanted for so long ,

hope all of you had a safe new years and enjoy a healthy and prosperous new year

had my time with my friend - found he had connections to the friend i made last night [should have known - based on his family connections ] but then im not always the fastest on the uptake these days , anyway we had a great time - bratts for liunch and movies with cigars , yall gotta watch the "ungentlemanly war" think thats the name , its a great WWII movie and is based n truth - churchills records released , its also the gasis for ian flemmings jamse bond books [i read every one of them and had them in my library of my first house] anyway - all based in truth , well worth the watch ,
