Over the weekend my good mate and I went shooting on some private property, I saw this as a great opportunity to take my ligthow out and give it some well deserved love on the range. My mate brought up his .22 rimfire rifle and was shooting out to 100yards, after seeing my rifle shooting out to 800yards he was absolutely gob smacked! Having some mil surp ammo I was kind enough to let him have a few shots. My mate was soo thrilled and inspired with his first experience with a .303 rifle that he’s out to get his own now. I even told him about this awesome forum that is obsessed with anything to do with Enfield’s! I’m just glad that I’ve helped turn someone on the great path the Enfield + I got a great weekend of shooting done. ------------- .303 lithgow No.4 Mk1* Imagine pure concentration and precision at 750 yards. Great any new blood is welcome but we aren't obsessed it's more like the rifles become a part of you! Like an arm or a leg, The more you get to know about them the more you want to learn.

I agree. This reminds me. My dad is gonna start collecting Lee enfields now as well. I spose him goin to gunshows with me and me constantly talking about them got him interested. Maybe there will be two new members on this site then! |
