I've had a No.4 MkI for a while and I'd like to put a scope on it.  I selected an Accumount scope mount, but now I'm trying to decide what piece of glass to mount and I need help.

I want a scope that's as similaar  to the No. 32 sniper scope as possible (withut breaking the bank).

Suggestions?  I'm new here, by the way.  Hello.

I'm in the process of doing just that.
I have a Hensoldt Fero Z-24 inbound as I type, but it has a rail adaptor that will be neeeded to convert the STANAG 2-bolt fitting to Weaver/PICATINNY so it'll fit on the rifle.
The range drum will need to be re-callibrated to .303 Brit. from the current 7.62 NATO, but I think I can do that with a bit of work at the ranges.
Prices on these even used run about $300.00 in the U.S. but it will be pretty close & will match the other Fero on my SLR.

To approximate look and performance of the No32 scope, try an old Weaver K3 or K 2.5. Regularly available on e-bay or gun broker.

The South of England has only 2 good features. The M1 and the A1. Both roads will take you direct to Yorkshire!

I had an old steel weaver scope on my "old" enfield. It was a great scope, no doubt about it.
Unfortunately it lacked the external finger operated range & windage knobs though.
The Hensoldt has that feature, so I'm hoping it'll be a near perfect match.
The reticule is very different in the Hensoldt though, so it's a trade off of function in some ways.
