I brought my Longbranch out and blasted a few rounds off at the local shooting range, I brought along some handloaded ammo to check for accuracy and velocity.
The bullets were Sierra 174 grain, they clocked in at 2582 fps.
 I was expecting speeds of about 2400 fps.

How much, and what kind of powder are you using?
I've gotten 35fps 'extra' from RL15. ------------- No4 MkI*, Savage 1943, FTR (F) 1954 Mk1/3 No4 Mk2 ROF(F) 5/50 No2A1 RFI 1966 |
