Tell us about your areas you go hunting. Camps, locations, etc.
I have three main hunting areas I go. main one is a 400 acre track with a small trailer home used for a camp house. I hunt Deer, Turkey, Rabbit, and squirrel there. Second area is My in law's land they have 60 acres I hunt Deer, Turkey, Rabbit, and squirrel there as well. Third is owned by a good friend of mine I hunt all the above game there as well. His cabin is more like a home with better sleeping, eating, cooking and game areas.

I hunt mainly station country, A mate has about 750000 acres 5 hours drive away I get up there about 3 times a year. We shoot donkey's mainly but also the odd goat and a few foxes. Live in the shearers quarters there. Pretty comfortable.
My brother manages 3 stations totalling about 4 1/2 million acres but its 10 hours away so I only get there twice a year. We shoot Donkeys Horses and camels there. Live in the house and it is very comfortable.
Shoot on a couple of farms here one is 7000 acres the other 1000 acres, Mainly foxes and rabbits.
The 303 is just the ticket for the bigger game like donkeys horses and camels. I prefer it over my 270w. With open sights and a 10 shot mag plus the fast bolt action not much gets away.

Ditto here as well! Back in the late 60s when I went North to shoot Water Buff ,it was a case of the Boss  suplied you with any rifle /cal combernation you wanted ......... Providing it was a Enfield  in .303 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 303-25 wa the Roo rifle of choice for many years  & on windy nights  (like tonight  ! 6hrs was enough for this Jackie )  I still use my 303-25 ! I figure if something works don't try & fix it !
As for shooting properties & camps ? I have my winter camp which is home here & my summer camp which is just outside of Woomera  (near Andamooka)  I've never really sat down & orked out the area that I shoot over ,but I do miss the days of the  Shooters camps in the time of the Pet Food industry up North !

I 've skirted round Marilinga/ Emu Fields over the years as they take a very dim view of visitors out that way & it is still heavily patroled ! Was a time I used to go out on the Nullabour to shoot Foxes but that ended with the market collapse in 1985 .

Mate! it's no wonder they chose emu fields to do the tests ! It's the land God made in anger ! We used to go out on the Nullabour for the Fox season (about 3mths ) & make a years income ! there was nothing out there to keep em under control ! I took a 6mth contract Dogging on the SA /WA boarder once ,that was'nt bad (once the block heads in the WA police at Eucla found out that I had a permit to carry a high power rifle into WA ) I've always pitied the FPS people out there as i really think they must of done something really bad to be sent there ! They used to be out there for a fortnight at a time ! (mind you there was this Female FPS officer called Marion & even though Tracey was'nt in the picture in those days I might just leave it there Wink)

I have to ask what do you do with all the donkeys you shoot?  We don't shoot them her we will sometimes ride them though.  Actually in Missouri we breed them to a horse and get Mules!
