Ah yess, the armourers funnel.  Once bought a crate of them from Canada, but at the time, NOBODY was interested!  Kept one for myself, and gave a couple to friends.  A dealer I knew took the rest.
I suppose today if I listed them, my email would be overflowing in nothing flat!

OK .... an armourers funnel.  That's fantastic!  So, what is it?    LOL   I mean seriously, I have no idea (and I betcha a whole lot more of us don't know either - mind you, I shouldn't assume).

Stand the rifle up, put the funnel in the chamber and pour in the boiling water. It neutralises the salts left behind by the corrosive primers.

Thanks. I always wondered how the hot water was administered.  That's interesting.

Thats' a good item for a collector of LE accessories. I'd like on too. Now that I know what to look for, I'll be looking out for one at my local gunshows.

Where did you find that fantastic picture? It's neat to see things more mundane such as the funnel in action. I enjoy it anyway.

If you can't find the original funnel there are similar plastic funnels made for toping up transmission fluids and other fluids in smaller sports coupes.
I've had to find one for one of my sister's sports cars, an OPEL I think it was. These looks very much like the Armorers funnels and have a very narrow spout that should fit into a .303 chamber.
An advantage is that the plastic should form a better seal to avoid leakage, and not mar the chamber wall.
