Gentlemen... I'm off back to sunnier locations, and to be reunited with my family. USA.. here I come!!! [<:o)]
The downside is, its going to cost me the earth to move all of my collections over with me. So, something has to go. Sadly, my '07' collection is one of those casualties. The following is a listing of the first twenty from my collection. I appreciate that the lighting is not the best, so if there is interest in a certain item, I will produce specific photographs... with hopefully better lighting conditions.
Each item will be wrapped in 'bubble wrap', then encased in a postal cardboard tube, the ends of which will be secured by cable-ties (as illustrated below). For added security, the tube caps will be padded out, then taped over. The postage will be inline to where the item has to be sent. I will try and acquire the following postal options:- Standard, Tracked-Signed for, Surface.
I'm asking £100 each + Postage. As of today's date: 28th July 2013, all remaining '07's are reduced to £60 + Postage!NOTE! The Royal Mail no longer accepts knives of any kind for postage abroad. This means a very expensive move to couries like 'DHL' or 'UPS' for international posting. An estimated cost by 'DHL' for posting an '07' international is £20. Here we go...
First:-

Chapman - 7-18 (July 1918)
Sanderson - 3-15 (March 1915) SOLD!
Wilkinson Pall Mall - 11-17 (November 1917) SOLD! Wilkinson Pall mall - 9-17 (September 1917) Chapman - 7-18 (July 1918)
Second:-

Sanderson - 6-18 (June 1918) SOLD!
Wilkinson - 1-17 (January 1917) SOLD! Sanderson - 3-18 (March 1918)
Chapman - 10-18 (October 1918) SOLD! Wilkinson - 11-18 (November 1918)
Third:-

Wilkinson Pall Mall - 5-18 (May 1918)
Sanderson - 11-17 (November 1917) SOLD! Wilkinson - 4-15 (April 1915) Wilkinson - 8-18 (August 1918) Sanderson - 9-17 (September 1917) SOLD! (pending payment)
Fourth:-

Sanderson - 10-18 (October 1918) SOLD!
Chapman - 5-17 (May 1917) SOLD! Sanderson - 3-15 (March 1915) EFD - 6-15 (June 1915) EFD - 6-10 (June 1910)Thank you gentlemen!
NOTE TO MEDERATORS! I'm not certain where this thread should go. So if you feel it should be moved... I'm more than happy for that to happen.

Yoeri...
I don't see why not. Does your postal service allow bayonets through the post? I'll certainly enquire, but that won't be until Tuesday, as we have a bank-holiday here on Monday.
paddyofurniture...
Yes I do, but not here. Its in the USA with the other half of my library and collections. If it were not so costly, I would not need to sell what I am. Its heart breaking having to do this, especially as these collections have been built up over several years. They have also entailed quite a lot of hard work. Still.. its all to the good.
I am actually keeping a few bayonets. Between here and the USA, I have one a complete collection of Remington made '07's = March to December 1915. I also have 3/4 of the production dates for Vickers, which were August 1917 to December 1918.
I'll be letting my Remington M-17 go soon. But am having great difficulty deciding whether or not to let a Remington-1918 go or not?

Bloody expensive...
For within the UK, I'm looking at a few quid. Obviously the cost is inline with the packaging used. Are you interested in anything?

A square 10... You should see the ones i'm keeping! I'll get them all together soon, and post a few pics. My collection in the USA is just as good, but with more 'Hookies'. Ten years ago I was doing the rounds of antique and military fairs, scanning the auction sites, and browsing the collector listings! Oh... you should have seen the ones that got away....

shotgun sam...
I'll accept a cheque or postal order from UK individuals. I'll need to wait on a cheque clearing first though before I'll post. Do you require any further photo's. If not, I'll package it up, have it weighed, and let you know the postage.

yes... there are five remaining. Anything without the word SOLD! on it... is still available. ;-) The Pattern-1907 Sword Bayonet was made to fit the SMLE No.1 Mk.3... no matter which manufacturer. 'Wilkinson' and 'Wilkinson Pall Mall' are one and the same.

Is the last one (the EFD - 6-10) still available? If yes, do you have some additional pictures, especially ricasso markings? A regimental marking? What would be international shipping cost to France? I can pay with PayPal. Thanks, Francois
