I've been doing some additional research on DCRA rifles and their variants. The DCRA conversations were done using Long Branch receivers. The Canadian Gun Club members could however send in their barrelled action, regardless of place of origin and it would be returned to them with the necessary changes to 7.62. They then made their personal touches afterwards. The No4 magazine was retained because the shooting competition was Slow Fire Prone, requiring single shots only. That all being said. I've taken liberty to personalize my rendition by an addition of a Parker Hale Bipod. The furniture has been polished smooth with #0000 steel wool and five coats of Minwax Satin Clear coat was applied, dried and then polished with the #0000 steel wool again. I am still going to use the 7.62 magazine as soon as it gets here. I will from this point forward, continue to list this one under the Aftermarket Enfields listings. By definition, this rifle has been sporterised due to the barrel swap to 7.62,also with the addition of the aftermarket Parker Hale parts and aftermarket furniture, along with the addition of the reproduction Sniper sling.

More pictures to follow when the new mags get here...

I think that's a very fine rifle Goosic.
It should shoot very well; look forward to seeing the result's when you get some range time.

Very nice job!
One question though, can that sling work with that center sling swivel?
Particularly with the PH handstop / bipod mount there!

Goosic. I've been a fan of your work since I joined the forum. I'm not sure if I've followed the thread correctly, but how much is the magazine for your latest project going to cost you?

Okay. See the hunk of metal in the photo? I bought two of these. The guy I bought them from has yet to give me a proper reach around and kiss if you understand the meaning of that. The total cost including shipping in US dollars? $550.00.

My butt hurts...

That is a lot of money, but obviously it is something you want and I applaud that. And yes, I do know what a "reach around" is, Drill Sgt. Hartman!

Looks nice. I take it that the mag was made from unobtainum. Seems like there are some other mags made from that same material. PSL mags are not as much but seem to cost a lot more than they should.

42rocker.
The magazine is for the L39A1 L42A1 Envoy Enforcer firing the 7.62×51. I,for the moment, cannot afford to own one so,I improvised. I made my own No4Mk2 rifle 7.62mm. I bit the bullet so too speak, and bought two magazines from a guy that currently is $550.50 dollars richer now. So the rifle in this photo is not a .303. It is a 7.62.
