From what I understand the main supply is sold out and it's now in the small guys hands, smaller dealers and private. If you come to the Fla., Hernando Sportsman Show Oct 27 & 28th, 2018 and tell me your from this website, I'll give you a couple of rounds for Free . Enjoy Life. Later 42rocker

I have been trying to source a case of this ammo. None available in Canada that I can find. As shotgun ammo, it should be easier to bring over the border. ------------- . . Look to your front, mark your target when it comes! |

7 cases - That's more than I have. Only have 2 cases and I said that I would give a couple of rounds away to anyone that asks for a pair at the Hernando, Fla show this weekend. No, you don't have to stand on your head, just say the Enfield forum sent you. Look for the table with the Mk1 #3 Enfield under the Bren Tripod with the Bren on it. If you can find the show, you should be able to find my tables. Hope to see someone at the show. PM me if you need more info. Later 42rocker

Yes the solid brass one has a single round ball for prison riot control, .410 Inch MK1 "Indian Musket" - 98gr Musket Ballthe red paper with the wad has shot. There were actually 2 different chamberings, the Indian "blown out" .303 case, & the standard British .410"X 2 1/2" one. ------------- Don't shoot till you see the whites of their thighs. Is the .410 a single shot or is there a magazine for loading the she!!s? I'm thinking that if your in the middle of a prison riot; I'd want more than one cartridge available! ------------- It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice! |

I have several of the Enfields that were redone in 410. In all of the cases the mag well is blocked making it into a single shot. I believe that the bright idea was that if a guard was taken then the prisoners would only have a single shot and limited ammo and when the "good guys" showed up we know who would win real fast.
