You could contact EFD rifles. Devizes Gunsmith's would also be worth a call.

I'm sure you are aware, but just in case you are not. It will currently be on SG licence. It will need to be 'sold' as a SG to the company doing the work for you. (Or, are you an RFD ?, are you doing the work yourself ?) You will need to inform the Police of the sale (or is it destruction ?) of the Shot Gun. Once fitted with a 303 barrel it will become a section 1 firearm and you will need a 'slot' on your FAC to enable you to "buy it back" from the Gunsmith. If you are planning to buy / source your own 303 barrel, as a pressure part, you will need to apply for a variation adding a "303 barrel" to your FAC. It will also need to be sent for proof testing before 'sale'. Apologies if this is 'teaching you to suck eggs 'but I'd prefer tell you what you already know rather than see your name on the Court lists under firearm offences. |

Hi Armourer, I'm not an RFD, yet, thanks for checking, admittidley did not know about the need for a '303 Barrel' slot on licence So Thanks again for the heads up.
You might find it amusing to hear that it was being sold as a section 1 as it still had a removable she!! of a magazine. An interesting interpretation considering it had been listed as .303 instead of .410. An odd chap, sold me a morris tube and most of a cane gun (In No2 shot cartrage 7mm 😉) for stupidley cheap.
