He prorogued parliament until 24 March.
Just trying to buy more time, rather than do what Canadians want.

I hear he's prepping model "Tear Sheets" to mass mail out for whatever his new gig is going to be. Highlighting his recent "Character Performances"! ![]() ![]() |

This guy is pure poison! Back when he was campaigining, I told EVERYONE THAT WOULD LISTEN, that if he gets elected, he will finish doing to this country what his father started. Evidentally, no=one listened.
His father tried to DISBAND the Canadian military..found out he couldn't do it - so he tried to starve it to death! Then he found out he needed it during the FLQ crisis. (This from a guy that held a LT's position during the war...but every time he was to be called up to serve, he went stateside for more "education")

Wasn’t Truedough senior was kicked out of the Canadian military? Can’t imagine the military wanting that guy anyway.

This resignation for me is just another slap in the face . He is still putting Canadians in peril by not calling an election immediately. This is all about pensions and power. The impending tariffs by the Trump administration are looming and he will still be technically in charge of the country and he is certainly not equipped to deal with the tariffs. He isn't smart enough or has the balls to stand up to Mr. Trump. October election can't come soon enough. God bless Canada....PLEASE!!!

Prorogued parliament basically to protect himself and his party from non confidence. Which would topple the gov`t and force an election. What a piece of Shyt coward. ![]() If you look historically in Canada, it seems every prorogued parliament, was in one way shape or form to protect a prime minster from pending problems, and not its true purpose. If our Governor General was NOT a card carrying appointed Liberal, this would not have happened. We`d be headed to the polls in Short order.

Well, at least the Lieberals won't be expanding their "banned firearms list" from here on.
When the crazy Liberal firearms laws are repealled, I intend to purchase a handgun. I'v been licenced for them for years. Had a Navy Colt B/P. When the Lieberals started to persecute us firearms owners, I got rid of it. a 1911 model .45 ACP & maybe - just maybe - another Navy Colt.

A M1911A1 is a fine gun, but so is a 455 revolver.
The 44 mag out ranked them all.

I always wanted a .455 Webley–Fosbery Self-Cocking Automatic Revolver! ( & Prideaux speed loaders)! But they're worth more than the gun! ![]() |
