I have 32 years invested with my beloved and would not trade our life for anything. We have our ways of doing things and it works for us.

I was married for 20 years, she played away and got caught. I got custody of the kids, it was the best thing that happened to us. Alex was 8 Victoria was 4 at the time, she's 19 and the lad will be 23 this year , good hardworking well educated kids never been in any trouble who love the outdoor life. It's been well worth the hard work.

My children go from 29 to 22.

Some times they act like the three completely different people but they get along great together.

All of them like Enfields but hand them a Ross and trouble reloading happens.

That's cuz ROSS wasn't .303 British, originally.
..& they had a nasty reputation for the bolt blowing back into the shooter's face(rare-but it DID happen enough)

Yep the lad can. He can also strip clean and reassemble his para version Dragunov blindfold. He'll be using it in a couple of weeks time stalking up in Scotland, a 150 grain 762x54R round works wonders on the big stags when they come marauding in the crops. He cleans and maintains all the rifles and shotguns while I cook the dinner.

Sorry Hoadie she's more into horses, got her own 16 hands chestnut gelding who hates her mum with a passion twice he's had hold of her, last time he near scalped her.  I love that horse!!!Evil Smile

I have had some slings that were really faded, especially after cleaning. I save up enough cold tea until a pan is deep enough to soak them in, but only for about 10 or 15 minutes, give them a quick reinse under the tap and let them dry, gives them some of their khaki colour back.

Thanks bristol boy, I will give it a try.

I was thinking about using left over coffee, but tea sound more proper for use with Enfields.
