This bayonet and scabbard are shorter than I expect to find. What do I have here?

I think that may be a South African version of the No9 bayonet made by ARMSCOR; but I'll have to check. Cool looking blade.

It has zero markings but a thick coating of paint or something? The thick main part of the body has the blade inserted into it then pinned to hold it in place.

The scabbard seems quite long compared to the blade. Nice find though.
