Looking back to the 60's I recall the Beatle generation turning into Mods & Rockers, the Rockers remained much the same but the Mods tended to morph into other things starting with "suede" heads which quickly became skinheads.
I was an army skinhead when I met Mrs. Strangely Brown but after leaving the services it became a bit longer circa 1974.

To remind my colonial cousins this is what a feral skinhead of the period looked like.

I went to a hockey tournament in St. Louis in '72. We were told we needed suit and tie. Mom bought me a three piece corduroy "burnt orange" suit, satin flowered shirt, orange velvet bowtie the size of two baseball gloves and platform saddle shoes. Man, I thought I was stylin...!

Very appropriate!
Jason King, or rather Peter Wyngarde to give him his real name was a keen shotgunner who enjoyed pheasant shooting in Essex in his later life.
I believe he was also a keen pistol shot before the UK government did the dirty on us.

I no longer acknowledge the UK government.

It does not represent the People of the UK.
